What is Applied Theatre?

Applied Theatre is theatre and drama practiced in community, education, therapeutic and even corporate settings. It is theatre intended to generate change in attitude, behavior, awareness or opinion and often includes audience participation, interaction and inclusion. 

Applied Theatre tackles areas of social and cultural concern such as:
